The level of irradiance can affect the depth of light penetration and the overall effectiveness of the therapy. Here's a breakdown of low, medium, and high irradiance levels:

• Low Irradiance (up to 20 mW/cm²): Suitable for sensitive skin and long-term use. It minimizes the risk of overstimulation and is ideal for daily maintenance sessions and gentle treatments.
• Medium Irradiance (20-30 mW/cm²): Provides a balance between effectiveness and comfort. It is suitable for regular treatments targeting specific skin concerns, such as acne, fine lines, and wrinkles.
• High Irradiance (30-43 mW/cm² and above): Delivers more energy in a shorter time, making it effective for intensive treatments. High irradiance allows for deeper tissue penetration, which is beneficial for addressing deeper skin issues, muscle pain, and accelerated healing

More LEDs ensure better coverage and uniform light distribution and effectiveness. High-quality LEDs produce consistent and accurate wavelengths of light. A single LED lamp (pcs), representing the visible number of lights on a product, may contain multiple chips (diodes/beams) to cover different wavelengths. LEDs emit light at specific wavelengths (colours), measured in nanometers (nm).

• Wavelength Accuracy: High-quality LEDs emit light at precise wavelengths, which is crucial for targeting specific skin or health concerns. For example, red light (620-700 nm) is often used for anti-aging and pain relief, while blue light (400-470 nm) is effective for acne treatment
• Power Output: The intensity of the light affects its penetration depth and effectiveness. Higher-quality LEDs often have better power output, enabling deeper tissue penetration for therapies like infrared light
• Beam Characteristics: LEDs with coherent and focused beams are more efficient in delivering therapeutic photons to the target area. Lower-quality LEDs may scatter light, reducing their effectiveness

The most common and useful colors for LED light therapy are red, blue, and near-infrared.

Each color target different skin concerns and penetrates the skin to different depth. For example, red light (630-700nm) is good for collagen production and anti-aging, while blue light (400-470nm) is effective for acne.
